It's the evening of Bobby's 35th birthday party and he's in the presence of the greatest company a guy could ask for: the five married
couples who make up his best friends in life. They (and he) realizing he's now 35, all wonder if he's ever going to settle down and
finally get married himself. Through a series of scenes and songs in flashback and forward-jumps of the timeline, we see Bobby
interacting with "those good and crazy people, my married friends" (and a few of his girlfriends, too), with everyone offering
varying opinions on the pros and cons of married life. As Bobby's own opinions on the subject waver and bend, we watch a man
truly on the edge of his bachelorhood, debating whether or not to finally take the plunge. With a script by George Furth and a
musical score by Broadway's most lauded composer, Stephen Sondheim, Company is a show that takes a funny, serious, insightful,
and poignant look on the all-too-modern topic of marriage from the outside-in, and the inside-out.
The dates and times of the Auditions are:
Monday, February 20th, 2012
Tuesday, February 21st, 2012

**Please be aware that callbacks will be held Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012, starting at 7:00pm, and running until as late as 10:00pm.**
Auditions and callbacks are going to be held at:
Farm Bureau Insurance
2008 North Main Street
Crown Point, IN 46307
What to prepare:
Please prepare two contrasting 32-bar song selections.
Bring sheet music, in the correct key, with you to the auditions.
An accompanist will be provided, but your music should be well-marked for the piano player,
who will be sight-reading your selections.
**Please, no selections from the score of Company.**
Although I am not encouraging or discouraging Sondheim selections
from the auditions, just remember that his material is notoriously difficult
for a piano player to sight-read, and this may affect your audition if you do bring a song from his repertoire.
There is no need to prepare a monologue, as acting reads will be done cold.
If you have any issue making either of these auditions dates or the callbacks, please contact
the director, Eric Reithel, via email - eric.reithel@gmail.com.
We hope to see you there!
